We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Attorney with a focus on Insurance Defense to join our growing firm. This role offers an opportunity to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment, handling complex insurance defense cases from inception through trial. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills and a strong commitment to client service.

• Manage a caseload of complex insurance defense files from start to finish.
• Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct extensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in civil litigation.
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes on the best possible terms for our clients.
• Participate in developing strategies for the defense and litigation of cases.
• Work collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure a high level of client service.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Stay updated on new laws, regulations, and industry trends that may affect our clients  businesses.
• Provide legal advice to clients on various insurance matters, including premise liability and transportation.

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar of California.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in civil litigation defense attorney (Ideally Insurance Defense).
• Proven experience in mortgage, banking, real estate and other related fields like construction defect.
• Exceptional analytical skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in legal research software and MS Office Suite.
• A commitment to delivering excellent client service and maintaining client relationships.
