People Ready is now hiring Insurance Sales Representatives to support a Farmers Insurance agency! We're looking for motivated, customer-focused sales professionals who enjoy building relationships, identifying customer needs, and helping individuals and families find insurance solutions that meet their needs.

As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will generate new business, follow up with prospective customers, provide insurance quotes, explain available coverage options, and build strong customer relationships while working toward individual and agency sales goals.

The pay rate for this job is $18 - $22 / hour*

• Generate new business through outbound calls, lead follow-up, referrals, and other sales activities
• Contact prospective customers to identify insurance needs and discuss available coverage options
• Provide quotes and explain insurance products, coverage options, premiums, deductibles, and policy features
• Sell appropriate insurance products based on customer needs and eligibility
• Follow up with prospective customers and maintain an active sales pipeline
• Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers
• Cross-sell additional insurance products and identify opportunities to expand customer relationships
• Respond to customer questions regarding policies, coverage, billing, and general insurance needs
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, quotes, follow-up activities, and sales
• Meet or exceed established sales, activity, and customer service goals
• Process applications and required documentation accurately and efficiently
• Maintain knowledge of available insurance products, underwriting guidelines, promotions, and applicable procedures
• Follow all agency, carrier, licensing, compliance, privacy, and regulatory requirements
• Provide professional and responsive customer service by phone, email, and in person
• Perform other sales and customer service duties as assigned

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with People Ready
• Previous insurance sales, inside sales, customer service, call center, or other sales experience preferred
• Strong sales and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable making outbound calls and following up with prospective customers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional, customer-focused approach
• Ability to identify customer needs and explain products and coverage options clearly
• Goal-oriented and comfortable working toward sales and activity targets
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to manage multiple leads and customer requests
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn agency management, quoting, and CRM systems
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license required if applicable to the position
• Must maintain all licenses and certifications required to perform assigned insurance sales activities
• Background check required
