Field Service Technician

O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable company to find their next Copier Service Technician. This position is based in Redding, CA.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled, customer-focused technician who takes pride in their work, communicates effectively, and delivers reliable, high-quality service in the field.

$16.50–$31.00 per hour, depending on experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience with office equipment or copier repair
• Strong customer service mindset and consistent follow-through
• Professional demeanor with the ability to remain calm and courteous
• Great diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively to customer needs
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and move equipment weighing 50 lbs. or more
• Experience with Sharp, Lexmark, and Konica devices is helpful but not required

• Travel to customer sites to service, maintain, and repair office printing equipment
• Maintain an organized inventory of commonly used parts and tools
• Educate customers on machine features and effective use
• Complete service reports promptly and accurately
• Communicate clearly and courteously when explaining issues or solutions
• Meet or exceed established service performance goals
• Stay current on product releases, technical updates, and service advisories
• Build strong relationships through reliable, knowledgeable customer support
