Accounts Assistant

As an Accounts Assistant in Redditch, you'll play a key role in keeping the accounting and finance operations running smoothly. From managing credit control to supporting general accounts tasks, your work will help ensure the business stays on top of its financial commitments.

• Manage and monitor customer credit accounts to ensure timely payments.
• Process invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Communicate with customers regarding overdue accounts and payment plans.
• Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and efficiency.
• Handle queries and provide assistance with general accounting tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

• Experience in credit control and general accounting tasks.
• A good understanding of financial processes and practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Hourly pay ranging from £18.00 to £22.00, dependent on the level of experience.
• Temporary contract offering flexibility.
• Fully on site role
