This is a key role at the heart of the school.

As the first point of contact for parents, visitors and staff, you will help create a welcoming and professional environment while supporting the smooth day‑to‑day running of the school.

About the role:

You will play an important part in supporting the school’s administrative, organisational and communication systems.

You will work closely with staff, pupils, families and external agencies, ensuring high standards of customer service and confidentiality at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a welcoming first point of contact for parents, visitors and telephone/email enquiries
  • Support school office systems, pupil records and general administration
  • Assist with admissions, attendance monitoring and pupil data
  • Manage school communications, appointments and correspondence
  • Support school events and day‑to‑day organisation
  • Order supplies, maintain records and ensure the office runs efficiently
  • Support pupil welfare, including first aid (training will be provided if needed)
  • Ensure safeguarding procedures and visitor protocols are followed
