An established contractor delivering works across Ministry of Defence sites is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

This role offers the chance to work on secure, technically challenging projects while managing the full commercial lifecycle on site-based schemes across the UK.

• Commercial management of MOD construction projects from start to finish
• Preparing and submitting valuations and cost reports
• Managing subcontract procurement, payments and final accounts
• Change control, variations and compensation events
• Working closely with site teams to control budgets and programme
• Liaising with clients, consultants and supply chain
• Ensuring contractual compliance and cost certainty
• Regular travel to MOD sites nationwide

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a construction or engineering contractor
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge (NEC and/or JCT)
• Comfortable working in secure site environments
• Flexible to travel extensively across the UK
• Strong communicator with a proactive approach
• Full UK driving licence essential
