Our client is looking for an inspirational & exceptional Science Teacher to join a school that has an excellent values-led reputation, looking to attract an individual who teaches for a purpose and not just a timetable.
The schools is an innovative and nurturing SEN school dedicated to supporting young people who have struggled to thrive in mainstream education. We are seeking a committed and inspiring Science Teacher who can teach across KS2, KS3, KS4 and KS5. You will be passionate about making learning accessible, meaningful and motivating.
Responsibilities- Deliver creative, engaging Science lessons across KS2 - KS5
- Differentiate effectively to meet a range of SEN needs (including ASD, SEMH, ADHD and complex learning needs)
- Encourage curiosity and confidence through practical, real-world science
- Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team, including SEN specialists and support staff
- Build good trusting relationships with pupils who may be disengaged or anxious about learning
- Teaching small class sizes allows you to teach, connect, and truly make a difference
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Science at secondary level (KS3 - KS5 essential; KS2 desirable)
- Excellent subject knowledge and a flexible teaching style
- Experience working with SEN pupils (or a genuine interest in developing this area)
- Excellent classroom management and relationship-building skills
- A resilient, patient and compassionate approach
