Cover Supervisor - Secondary And Middle Schools

Overview

Cover Supervisors are needed across secondary and middle schools in Redditch, Studley and Bromsgrove for both short‑term and long‑term placements. This position offers the chance to gain teaching experience and build your career in education.

• Oversee students during the completion of pre‑set work in the absence of the subject teacher.
• Ensure students remain engaged, on task and manage behaviour in the classroom.
• Build positive relationships with pupils across different year groups.
• Assist with other duties such as registrations, break/lunchtime duties.

• Desire to make a difference.
• Enthusiastic and have a good sense of humour.
• Excellent communication and time‑management skills.
• Adaptable, proactive, resilient, reliable.
• Hold a UK degree or have previous experience working with young people (e.g., mentor, sports coaching, youth work, tutoring, TA, LSA).
• Possess a current enhanced DBS certificate (or be willing to apply for one).
• Can travel to Redditch, Studley, Bromsgrove.
