Construction Plant Operative – Train to Become an Instructor/NVQ Assessor

Based in Redditch, West Midlands (Nationwide Travel Required)

£35,000 during training | Up to £50,000 once qualified

Total Construction Training is seeking an experienced Construction/Waste Plant Operative ready to take the next step in their career by training to become a qualified Instructor and Level 2 NVQ Assessor. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled plant operator who wants to move off the tools and into a rewarding training role, delivering high-quality plant and NVQ training across the UK.

Training will be delivered in the following categories:

• Forward Tipping Dumper
• Ride‑on Roller
• 360 Excavator
• Telescopic Handler
• Slinger/Signaller
• Loading Shovel
• Vehicle Marshall
• Counterbalance Forklift
• Materials Re‑Handler

Essential

• Proven experience operating a Loading Shovel, 360 Excavator, and/or Materials Re‑Handler

Desirable (but not essential)

• Experience operating the additional plant listed above

Full instructor and assessor training, along with relevant certifications, will be provided to the right candidate.

• £35,000 starting salary during training
• Up to £45,500 once fully qualified as an Instructor/NVQ Assessor
• £45 overnight/food allowance
