The successful applicant will provide 1:1 support to learners with additional learning needs and assist teachers by undertaking a range of non-teaching duties, including classroom administration and practical tasks such as contributing to the preparation of teaching materials. Responsibilities include reteaching and reinforcing concepts for struggling pupils, helping with classroom setup, and supervising students.

• Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEN to aid learning and participation
• Assist teachers with non-teaching tasks including classroom administration and preparation of teaching materials
• Support with classroom setup, safe supervision, and behaviour management in line with school policy
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teaching staff as required

• Experience working with children in a learning environment or relevant childcare provision
• Experience with vulnerable individuals (children or adults)
• Awareness of children/young people’s development and learning
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with staff, students, families, and carers
• Ability to implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policy
• Available Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm on school days
• DBS on update service or willingness to obtain a new DBS
