The company is an established and leading manufacturer of precision components and assemblies to the aerospace industry.
Laboratory Manager – operations in Redditch.
Salary: £42,000 to £52,000 per annum.
Full‑time (Monday to Friday).
Responsibilities- Responsible for scheduling and testing work in progress.
- Training, certification and management of lab technicians.
- Maintaining calibration of test equipment and ensuring adherence to NADCAP MTL requirements.
- Liaising with quality, logistics, manufacturing and engineering teams.
- Previous lab experience.
- Experience in managing a team.
- Experience in mechanical testing.
- Ability to work to very tight tolerances.
- Knowledge of NADCAP.
- Qualification in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering or Material Science (advantageous but not essential).
- Ability to interpret industry standards for test requirements.
