Job Title: VAT Consultant
Contract: 6-Month Interim
Rate: 400 per day (Inside or Outside IR35)
Location: Fully Remote

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced VAT Consultant to support a Local Authority on a 6-month interim basis. While prior local government experience is helpful, it is not essential
. The key requirement is solid VAT expertise and the ability to manage compliance tasks independently.
- Responding to HMRC queries relating to VAT Returns
- Preparing accurate VAT Returns
- Performing Partial Exemption calculations
- Strong knowledge of VAT legislation and compliance
- Experience preparing VAT Returns and handling HMRC queries
- Ability to work independently and remotely
