Group Financial Accountant

SF Recruitment is working with a leading business based in Redditch that is recruiting for a permanent Group Financial Accountant. This is a fantastic role for a qualified finance professional looking to develop within a fast-paced and commercially focused environment. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in supporting the group reporting process, statutory accounts preparation and continuous improvement projects across the finance function. The ideal candidate is a qualified ACA accountant and this role would particularly suit a first-time mover from a top‑tier practice firm looking to make their first move into industry.

• Preparing monthly group consolidated accounts
• Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts
• Working closely with auditors during year-end processes
• Providing technical accounting support across the business
• Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and controls
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Assisting with group reporting and board pack preparation
• Driving improvements to financial processes and reporting
