We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, independent financial planning firm located on the outskirts of Redditch. The firm has built a strong reputation for delivering clear, independent financial advice and tailored solutions to its clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Services Administrator to join a supportive and growing business. Working closely with Financial Advisers and the wider Business Support Team, you will play a key role in ensuring clients receive a first-class service while developing your own skills and career within financial planning.
Please note: This is a full-time, office-based position.
Key Responsibilities- Processing new and existing business and providing full administrative support to advisers
- Managing your own task-based diary and ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed timescales
- Liaising professionally with clients, advisers and product providers via telephone, email and face-to-face meetings
- Assisting with client reviews and preparing policy valuations
- Carrying out fund switches and asset allocations across a range of investment platforms
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with internal procedures, Consumer Duty requirements and Treating Customers Fairly principles
- Previous experience within a Financial Services Administrator or IFA Administrator position
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with back‑office systems and investment platforms would be advantageous
- Full driving licence preferred due to the office location and limited public transport links
- Full‑time, office‑based role with a 35‑hour working week
- Early finish every Friday
