Planning Officer - 1 Full Time Permanent Position, 37 Hours per week
Bromsgrove District Council and Redditch Borough Council are looking for an enthusiastic Planning Officer to fulfil a key role in the Strategic Planning and Conservation Team.
Just 13 miles from Birmingham, Bromsgrove District and Redditch Borough play an important role in planning in the West Midlands area. Producing new local plans, reviewing the Green Belt, Town and District Centre regeneration, and addressing housing and employment needs are some of the challenges now facing the Councils. We are looking for a planner who is keen to play a key role in meeting these challenges in a busy planning office.
The role offers a great opportunity to get involved in a wide range of strategic planning work across both authorities.
Good communication skills are essential, and you will need to show initiative and be able to liaise with a variety of stakeholders in the plan‑making process.
