The Role

We’re looking for a Recovery Worker to support individuals through their rehabilitation journey. You’ll work closely with residents, therapists, and partner agencies to ensure each person receives the tailored care they need to recover and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one support and coordinate individual care plans
  • Help service users register with GPs, access benefits, and attend appointments
  • Facilitate and support recovery-focused group sessions
  • Carry out health & safety checks, room inductions, and drug/alcohol testing
  • Liaise with external services to ensure a smooth transition after treatment
  • Keep accurate records using our care management system

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience with addiction services (gambling, alcohol, substance or a neuropsychological disorder)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care / Adult Care (or working towards it)
  • Ability to work with vulnerable people in a supportive way
  • Group facilitation or therapeutic support skills
  • Strong communication and care coordination
  • IT skills and confident with record-keeping
  • Familiarity with safeguarding and risk management
  • Flexible approach to shift work (includes some weekends)
  • Interested in working within a therapy-based setting for gambling addiction.

Based in Redditch, 35-hour week, shift rota between the hours of 8am and 8pm including some weekend work.
