Overview
An established material handling business is looking for an experienced Workshop Fitter to join its engineering team in Redditch.
Location: Redditch
Salary: £35,000 + overtime paid at time and a half
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Arrangement: Site-based
Responsibilities- Service, maintain and repair forklifts and material handling equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Inspect and prepare equipment for customer delivery
- Complete job sheets and service records accurately
- Work in accordance with health and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop
- Experience working on forklifts, plant machinery, agricultural equipment, HGVs or similar machinery
- Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and diesel systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Overtime paid at time and a half
