Role

Be responsible for leadership and day to day line management of the Senior Housing Income Officer, Housing Income Officer and Housing Income Advisor. Support the Housing Income Manager in ensuring that the Rent Officers, and Housing Income Assistant are delivering the requirements of their roles as set out in the Job Description and Person Specification, and that monitoring and management of individual performance is clear, transparent, and consistent.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and line management for the Senior Housing Income Officer, Housing Income Officer and Housing Income Advisor.
  • Support the Housing Income Manager to ensure delivery of role requirements for Rent Officers and Housing Income Assistant, with clear, transparent performance monitoring.
Key Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of housing legislation, regulation, and policy related to tenancy, leaseholder, and housing debt recovery.
  • Experience of staff management, including dealing with conflict, resistance, complex and contentious issues, and performance management.
Skills & Experience
  • At least three years demonstrable experience of working in Housing Services, preferably with one year at Senior Officer or Team Leader level.
  • At least 3 years demonstrable experience specific to the role, or demonstrable experience with transferable skills within the social housing sector.
  • At least 2 years relevant and recent experience in a senior or managerial role.
