Monday to Friday | 38 Hours Per Week | 1 in 5 Weeks Nights

A leading global manufacturer is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join its established engineering team in Redditch.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an electrically biased, multi-skilled, or mechanically biased engineer looking to develop their skills within a highly automated manufacturing environment.
You'll be working on a range of production and automation equipment while receiving industry-leading training and long-term career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Attend equipment breakdowns and minimise downtime
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Maintain conveyors, presses, robotics, automated machinery and production equipment
- Fault‑find on electrical and mechanical systems
- Work on three‑phase electrical systems and industrial controls
- Support continuous improvement and reliability projects
- Maintain high health and safety standards
- Work closely with a large engineering team to support production targets
- Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent
- Maintenance engineering experience within manufacturing, production, FMCG, automotive, packaging, processing or automated environments
- Electrical fault‑finding experience preferred
- Mechanical maintenance skills
- Knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery would be advantageous
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach
