As a trainee Semi-Skilled Assembler at Honeywell, in Redditch, you will learn to work in a clean, air-conditioned environment manufacturing low volume miniature cooling devices. The main purpose of this role is to carry out assembly, test and inspection in accordance with company procedures and requirements.

Honeywell Aerospace products and services are used on virtuallyeverycommercial, defense, and space aircraft. Webuild aircraft engines, cockpit and cabin electronics, wireless connectivity systems, mechanical components. You will have a buddy assigned to you and work closely with experienced professionals to gain hands‑on experience within a friendly and supportive team to be trained to achieve the following:

• Assemble, test and inspect components and products in accordance to drawings or other specification requirements
• Many components are small, so you’ll be utilising your manual dexterity, and even working with microscopes in some cases
• Accurately complete all relevant documentation
• Perform all tasks in accordance with safe methods of work and complying with all appropriate health & safety guidelines and legislation
• To work effectively as an individual or as a team
• To proactively participate in continuous Improvement

No Experience in assembly is required for this role; it’s all about your attitude, and manual dexterity.
