CNC Miller

We are currently recruiting for a CNC Miller to join a busy and well-established manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Miller with a hands-on approach, experience reading engineering drawings and a strong understanding of precision machining.

With a salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience, this role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to utilise their machining skills within a professional manufacturing environment.

• Operate CNC milling machines to manufacture components to specification.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to ensure accurate machining.
• Select appropriate tooling and ensure components are produced to the required tolerances.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments where required.
• Identify and resolve machining issues to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Maintain accurate quality records and ensure all work meets required standards.
• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised working environment.

• Previous experience working as a CNC Miller within a manufacturing or precision engineering environment.
• Confident setting up and operating CNC milling machines.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good knowledge of tooling, machining processes and precision measurement equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality components.
