Sales & Marketing Executive

We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Sales & Marketing Executive to take ownership of the company’s marketing activity, online presence and business development initiatives.

This is a varied role combining marketing, digital campaigns, lead generation, customer engagement and sales support. The successful candidate will have a strong marketing background, with the ability to create and deliver campaigns that increase brand awareness, generate new opportunities and support business growth.

Working closely with senior management and sales teams, you will identify new opportunities, manage marketing activity and ensure the company’s brand, services and achievements are effectively promoted across relevant channels.

Key Responsibilities

* Take ownership of the company’s marketing strategy and day-to-day marketing activity.

* Develop and deliver B2B marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate leads.

* Create engaging marketing content including social posts, newsletters, case studies, presentations and promotional materials.

* Develop and maintain a consistent brand identity and tone of voice.

* Research market trends, competitors and industry opportunities to support growth.

* Plan, manage and measure marketing campaigns from concept through to delivery.

* Monitor campaign performance, website activity and lead generation results.

* Coordinate external marketing support, designers, agencies and suppliers where required.

* Identify and develop new business opportunities through marketing campaigns, networking and proactive outreach.

* Research potential customers and markets to support business growth.

* Generate, qualify and follow up leads through to sales opportunities.

* Build strong relationships with customers, prospects and internal teams.

* Attend industry events, exhibitions and networking opportunities to promote the business.

* Work with operational teams to identify projects, achievements and opportunities that can be promoted.

* Provide recommendations and ideas to improve marketing performance and commercial growth.

Skills & Experience

* Proven experience within a marketing role, ideally within a B2B or commercial environment.

* Experience managing company websites and online platforms.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Experience with in logistics, transport, events, entertainment or another fast-paced commercial sector.

* Commercial mindset with the ability to link marketing activity to business results.

* Experience generating leads and supporting business development.

* Confident engaging with customers, prospects and senior stakeholders.

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

* Creative, proactive and confident developing new ideas.

* Good analytical skills with the ability to review campaign performance.

Working Hours - Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm

Salary - £40,000 – £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
