Inspection of Aerospace forgings for the main OEM's
Line-side predominantly visual inspection of Forgings requiring some manual dimensional assessment using all common manual measurement equipment.
Job DescriptionCustomer is seeking skilled individuals to support the visual and dimensional measurement of Forgings' efforts at their facility. Daily line-side inspection of Forgings. The resource will be checking for conformity to customer specifications, acting as a quality gate. Further orientation will be performed onsite.
Duration3 to 6 months
Frequency38.5 hrs Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:30 and Friday 07:30 to 12:30, although there can be additional hours and also flexibility.
Skill Requirements- At least 3 years' experience using dimensional inspection equipment
- Hands on experience with GD&T per ANSI Y 14.5
- Must be able to interpret blueprints and drawings
- Familiarity with Quality and Manufacturing processes
- Preferably an inspection background in receiving, in-process inspection knowledge of FAI reports
- Boeing, Airbus, Spirit, Collins, Meggitt, Rolls-Royce and some Defence Platforms.
- Must be UK Citizen
