A Quality Engineer opportunity has become available within an established manufacturing business producing precision-engineered components. The business continues to achieve year-on-year growth and is looking to strengthen its quality team, with a focus on preventing defects and improving manufacturing processes.
Reporting to the Quality Manager and working closely with Production and Engineering, you will take ownership of quality investigations and help implement lasting improvements. The role would suit a Quality Engineer with strong problem-solving experience who enjoys working across departments to resolve issues and prevent them from recurring.
Quality Engineer responsibilities include:
- 8D investigations into internal, customer , supplier non-conformances, ensuring effective corrective actions.
- Working with Production and Engineering to prevent recurring defects and verify improvements are sustained.
- Monitoring quality trends to identify opportunities to reduce scrap, rework and customer complaints.
- Supporting compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100 and customer-specific quality requirements.
