Business Manager - Lake Personal Care

Create and maintain a profitable and sustainable Business Unit, achieving annual sales and margin budgets. Develop long term business relationships with Key Customers, promote Lake’s Ultimate Customer Value and create unique and compelling sales propositions.

Create, maintain and develop Supplier relationships to ensure a long-term positive contribution to Lake.

• Make 140 customer visits a year, developing ca. 50 key accounts
• Daily add sales information to Customer Relationship Management software
• Develop key markets across Personal Care, Cosmetics & HI&I
• Contract Manufacturers
• Brands
• Formulators
• Flawlessly execute Sales and Marketing
• Manufacturers of all key product groups
• Obtain marketing information
• Ensure adequate UK stock
• Communicate with supplier partners (reports, sales figures, market information, product development)
• Cultivate new Supplier Partners in line with Division strategy

• Seasoned technical salesperson conversant in and knowledgeable of the UK market. Experienced and known to UK companies and customers. Excellent communicator at all levels. Able to develop a customers’ product formulation. Able to fulfil customer purchasing requirements. Business acumen to attract and develop new Manufacturers. A completer/finisher. A hunter.
• Technical education to BSc or equivalent industrial experience.
