We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for ongoing night shifts. This position involves multi‑drop deliveries across the Midlands, primarily to shopping centres and retail locations. The role requires reliable and safe delivery practices, the ability to manage paperwork, and the use of a pump truck for unloading.

• Multi-Drop Deliveries: Complete Class 1 deliveries to various retail outlets, shopping centres, and distribution points across the Midlands.
• Loading: Begin the shift with loading in Worcester, ensuring the vehicle is properly loaded for the planned delivery route.
• Delivery & Unloading: Transport goods using a pump truck and deliver them directly to stores, following specific unloading procedures.
• Paperwork: Complete all necessary delivery documentation, including delivery logs, proof of delivery (POD), and other compliance paperwork.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the vehicle and cab are maintained in a clean and tidy condition, ready for the next shift.
• Safety & Compliance: Strict adherence to all company policies and legal requirements, including road safety regulations, vehicle checks, and the proper use of equipment.

  Experience:
  
  A minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience with a Class 1 (C+E) license.
• Valid UK License: A clean, valid UK driving license (Class
  1) with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Right to Work: You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
• Night Shift Availability: Ability to work regular night shifts, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow delivery instructions and complete all documentation accurately.
• Physical Capability: Comfortable using a pump truck to unload goods and assist in manual handling tasks.
• Team Player: Work collaboratively with the driver’s mate to ensure smooth and efficient delivery operations.
• Professionalism: A high standard of professionalism in customer service, vehicle upkeep, and communication.
