Warehouse Operative Nights

Our client a leading UK retailer that sells tools, accessories, and building supplies to both professional tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts through a multi‑channel approach, including over 550 stores and online services located in Redditch, is recruiting for Warehouse Operatives.

Fixed night shift: 22:00 – 06:00, Sunday to Thursday.

Pay: £14.54 per hour for standard hours; £21.81 per hour after 37.5 hours completed.

• Pick and pack tools and accessories.
• Use technology such as scanners or headsets to locate and retrieve specific products.
• Pick the correct quantity and type of items, ensuring accuracy.
• Replenish stock at pick locations, manually or using warehouse equipment.
• Assist with stock counts and audits.
• Monitor and report on stock levels to ensure adequate supply.

• Handheld scanners, computer systems, or headsets for receiving pick instructions and tracking orders.
• Pallet trucks, forklifts (if trained), and stretch‑wrapping machines.

• Weekly pay and online payslips.
• Full training provided; potential to be trained on all MHE equipment with bonus‑related pay when fully trained.
• Full training on all SOP (Safe Operating Procedures).
• Potential to secure a permanent contract after a successful trial period.
• Optional personal accident insurance.
