Job Description & How to Apply Below
Every building has a story to tell. Its walls, spaces, levels and details all reveal something — and your job is to capture it accurately.
At Lucion Survey, we’re looking for an experienced Measured Building Surveyor to join our team based around Redhill.
If you enjoy precision, problem-solving and turning real-world spaces into accurate data that helps bring projects to life, this could be the role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll work across a variety of buildings and projects, capturing the detail that designers, clients and project teams rely on.
You’ll:
* Carry out accurate measured building surveys across commercial, residential and public-sector projects
* Use modern surveying equipment including laser scanners, total stations and GNSS/GPS
* Capture buildings of all shapes, sizes and complexities
* Process survey data into accurate floor plans, elevations, sections and as-built drawings
* Check, refine and quality-assure survey information before it reaches the client
* Work closely with clients, designers, project managers and the wider survey team
* Help ensure safety, quality and accuracy are maintained on every project
From initial site visit to final deliverable, you’ll play a key role in turning physical spaces into reliable information that projects can be built around.
About You
You’ll ideally have:
* Experience working as a Measured Building Surveyor
* Practical experience using laser scanners, total stations and GNSS/GPS equipment
* The ability to turn survey data into accurate CAD drawings
* A sharp eye for detail and a methodical approach to your work
* Strong problem-solving skills and a practical mindset
* Pride in producing accurate, useful and dependable deliverables
* A full UK driving licence
You’re someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of your work and understands that getting the detail right matters.
What You’ll Get
We know great surveyors are worth looking after. You’ll benefit from:
* Salary up to £42,000 DOE
* Healthcare Cash Plan
* Techscheme vouchers
* Enhanced family leave
* Option to buy additional holiday
* Training and development opportunities
* A supportive team that understands surveying and values quality
* A varied portfolio of interesting projects across Redhill and the wider region
Why Lucion Survey?
Because accurate surveys are the foundation of great projects.
We believe people do their best work when they’re trusted, supported and given the right tools to succeed.
You’ll join a team where technical expertise is valued; quality matters and no two projects are quite the same.
If you’re a Measured Building Surveyor who enjoys precision, variety and seeing your work become part of something bigger, we’d love to hear from you.
