We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and welcoming schools. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and is considering a future career in education.

You will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing, helping to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support pupils individually and in small groups to reinforce learning

Assist the class teacher with preparing resources and classroom activities

Promote positive behaviour and support pupils’ social and emotional development

Provide additional support for pupils with SEND where required

Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

Support with playground duties and school activities as needed

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have a genuine interest in working with children

Be patient, caring, and approachable

Demonstrate good communication and teamwork skills

Be reliable, proactive, and willing to learn

Have GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above)

Previous experience working with children (school, childcare, tutoring, coaching, etc.) is desirable but not essential
