A welcoming specialist secondary SEN school in the Redhill area is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis this September.

The school supports students with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH and associated learning difficulties
, and is seeking someone who is passionate about helping young people thrive both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities

• Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups throughout the school day.

• Assist with learning, communication, emotional regulation and positive behaviour.

• Encourage independence, confidence and engagement in lessons.

• Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to provide tailored support.

• Build positive relationships and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment.

• Support students to achieve their individual EHCP and learning goals.

Requirements

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN.

• Experience working with Autism, ADHD, SEMH or similar additional needs.

• A patient, resilient and proactive approach.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
