We’re looking for a motivated and hands‑on Manufacturing Engineer Apprentice to join our Operations Engineering team. You’ll learn real engineering skills, work with cutting‑edge technology, and be part of a team that builds products used around the world.
Responsibilities- Learn by doing — Join team meetings, workshops, and practical training sessions.
- Work across different departments—Production, Logistics, Purchasing—so you can see how everything fits together.
- Get involved in real engineering — Help improve product designs and assemblies.
- Use CAD software to create and develop engineering ideas.
- Research new technologies that could make our manufacturing even better.
- Take part in New Product Introduction projects.
- Build Essential Skills — Learn about health & safety, strengthen critical thinking, and keep a diary of what you’ve learned and the projects you’ve worked on.
- Work with a supportive team — Build great relationships with engineers and technicians, get feedback, share ideas, and contribute to improvements.
- Gain confidence and experience that will set you up for your future career.
- Study while you work — Attend college one day a week to gain your engineering qualifications.
- A genuine interest in Engineering & Manufacturing
- Good time management and willingness to learn
- Problem‑solving skills and a positive mindset
- Computer skills (CAD experience is a bonus)
- Able to ask questions, get involved, and work well with others
- GCSE English – Grade 4/C or above
- GCSE Maths – Grade 4/C or above
- Technology subject – Grade 4/C or above (Engineering‑related preferred)
- Real engineering experience from day one
