AboutThe Role
In this role, you will support individuals with mental health challenges to live safely and comfortably in their own homes while promoting independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing.
Your responsibilities may include:- Assisting with daily living tasks like meal preparation and household chores
- Providing companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing
- Supporting individuals to engage with the community, attend appointments, or take part in social activities
- Offering medication reminders or prompts, following agreed care plans
- Encouraging independence and empowering individuals to make their own choices
- Keeping clear, accurate, and confidential care records
- Collaborating with colleagues and other professionals to deliver consistent, high-quality support
