Die Cutting Technician – Packaging, Rotating Shifts

• Pay: £32,175 - £39,000 per annum
• Hours of Work:
  Double days, rotating weekly: 06:00 - 13:30 early, 13:30 - 21:00 late
• Duration:
  Permanent
• Benefits:

Job Role:

As a Die Cutting Machine Operative, you will set up and operate BOBST die cutting machinery to produce high-quality packaging products. The Die Cutting Machine Operative will carry out die cutting, creasing, embossing and debossing processes, monitor machine performance, complete quality checks and support routine maintenance.

• Proven experience working as a Die Cutting Machine Operative, preferably with BOBST equipment
• Strong knowledge of die cutting, creasing, embossing and debossing processes
• Experience with folding cartons, corrugated materials and packaging substrates
• Ability to set up, adjust and troubleshoot production machinery
• Quality-focused Die Cutting Machine Operative with strong attention to detail
• Good understanding of factory safety procedures and quality control
• Able to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Flexible Die Cutting Machine Operative willing to support overtime and shift cover
• Reliable, dependable and safety conscious
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Positive team player with a strong work ethic
• Organised and able to stay focused in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
