We're looking for a Utilities Supervisor to help lead our Repair & Maintenance teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of operational activities across our water network.

This is a hands on leadership role where you'll support and mentor Utilities Fitters and Trainee Utilities Fitters, drive operational performance, and champion a strong health and safety culture. You'll work closely with colleagues, contractors, customers, and stakeholders to ensure repairs and maintenance activities are completed right first time and to the highest standards. • Supervise and support Utilities Fitters and Trainee Utilities Fitters in day-to-day operations.
• Carry out site audits covering quality, safety, traffic management, plant, equipment and working practices.
• Ensure all activities are compliant with health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Support the planning and delivery of complex repair and maintenance activities.
• Liaise with highways authorities, contractors, customers and key stakeholders to coordinate works.
• Drive productivity, operational efficiency and a "right first time" approach.
• Investigate customer complaints and support root cause analysis and service improvements.
• Coach, mentor and develop field teams, identifying training and development needs.
• Support performance reviews and progression assessments.
• Participate in the out-of-hours standby rota to support emergency repair activities.
• Support innovation initiatives and continuous improvement across the business.

• Experience with in the water industry, ideally in repair and maintenance operations.
• Strong leadership, coaching and team development skills.
• NRSWA Supervisor Units 1-6 and 9.
• National Water Hygiene Card.
• Health & Safety training and knowledge of safe digging and excavation practices.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication, planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
