Carry out gas installation work across a variety of domestic properties, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest industry standards. All installations will be pre-assessed by a supervisor/inspector, with required materials and the full scope of works prepared in advance.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day delivery of assigned installation work
* Complete installations in line with the survey specification, client requirements, and all relevant regulations
* Report any issues preventing completion to your Installation Supervisor
* Complete all contract-related paperwork during the installation, ensuring all required signatures are obtained
* Work professionally and courteously, respecting residents’ property and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness
* Attend recall visits when requested by your Installation Supervisor
* Complete installations within agreed timescales and report any delays promptly
* Wear company-issued uniform and required PPE at all times
* Accurately complete all documentation including timesheets and H&S monitoring forms
* Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures and standards
* Ensure all certification and documentation is completed accurately
Skills & Experience
* Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential)
* Valid UK driving licence (essential)
* Previous experience in domestic gas installation
* Good knowledge of gas safety regulations and industry standards
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
* Professional, courteous manner with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and tenants
