Typical DayJoining H&R Block as a seasonal Client Service Professional/Receptionist means you’ll focus on wow clients now and in the future. You’ll see the impact of your work firsthand by helping clients make confident, informed decisions about their lives, careers, and money, and by building relationships that grow stronger each year.
Desired Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and/or in multiple locations
- Sales or marketing experience
- Answer phones and greet clients in a personalized, friendly, and inviting manner
- Match clients with the best‑suited tax professional for their needs
- Schedule clients how they would like to be scheduled
- Help to ensure all client needs have been met during service both in person, over the phone, or virtually
- Maintain office cleanliness and organization of resources with team members
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment
- Previous customer service experience
- Ability to multi‑task
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office

The pay range for this position is based on local minimum wage laws and job‑related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location. Successful candidates may participate in incentive compensation or short‑term incentive plans, and can enroll in medical and prescription drug coverage, a retirement plan, an employee assistance program, fitness center programs, an associate discount program, business travel accident insurance, and an associate tax prep benefit.
