The Human Resources (HR) Generalist is responsible for supporting the HR needs of designated business units and implementing best practices to achieve corporate objectives. This role involves providing guidance on employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, policy implementation, and compliance with safety and payroll standards. The HR Generalist works closely with HR leadership and business managers to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Employee Relations & Compliance
- Conduct investigations into employee relations matters, safety concerns, harassment, and policy violations.
- Review and approve post‑incident drug tests and corrective actions.
- Coach and discipline employees as needed and assist with resolving workplace issues.
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Support recruitment for non‑exempt, temporary, and internal transfer positions.
- Complete interview paperwork and ensure smooth onboarding for new hires.
- Participate in job fairs and other recruiting initiatives.
- Performance Management
- Assist in developing and monitoring Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).
- Work with supervisors to ensure clear objectives and consistent follow‑up.
- Training & Development
- Facilitate company training programs, including new employee orientation, harassment prevention, and leadership development.
- Ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate HR records and reports.
- Assist in evaluating HR programs and initiatives against established goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build relationships and adapt to changing priorities.

CompensationHourly Rate: $26-$30. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job‑related factors.
