Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing the various stages of product inspection involved with labor claims processing. Work with product team to identify and diagnose potential product defects and deviations that would negatively impact quality. Provide analyses to understand trends and support company initiatives. Develop product expertise and become the subject matter expert for the quality and continuing improvement. High level individual contributor.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Works with product team to reach and sustain desired overall proficiency with product failure analysis.
- Maintain workflow to ensure timely processing and closure of all received labor claims
- Assist the product management team as needed
- Inspects, measures, and records all details about labor claims
- Receives, identifies, and sorts UPS, Fed Ex, and DHL deliveries (samples vs. labor claims).
- Maintain internal quality tracking documents
- Must be willing to work in a team environment to support overall business objectives
- Respectfully and diligently take on any other job duties assigned.
Skills And Abilities
- Must have strong attention to detail, punctuality and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Requires ability to communicate in verbal, written, and electronic formats, as well as ability to understand directions and requests via phone or in person.
- Proficient in Office (especially in Excel / Word)
- Ability to manage large amounts of data
- Strong automotive knowledge – Specifically diagnostic and troubleshooting.
- Must be able to use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
- Must be able to adhere to stringent deadlines
- 1+ years of experience in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- 2+ years of experience in Automotive diagnostic repair or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be able to lift 50lbs. Must be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand and work for prolonged periods of time.
