Mission

Aspiranet is a one‑of‑a‑kind social service agency dedicated to building a world where all children and youth are loved and cared for, and all families have the resources to thrive. Founded in 1975, Aspiranet’s services include foster resource family support, residential care, adoption services, support for youth transitioning from foster care to adulthood, mental health services, intensive home‑based care, and community‑based family resources.

Your

Impact

Aspiranet is seeking a Social Worker to provide therapeutic case management and supportive services for children and families in our foster care and adoption programs. The role is client‑centered, trauma‑informed, and reflects best practice standards.

Your Future Team

Aspiranet’s foster care and adoption agency has been a leader in providing services to children and families in California for over 35 years. We prepare and approve skilled and caring parents, guiding them to become a healing resource for the children in their care. We work in partnership with families by providing ongoing support, training, and monitoring until children can reunify with their families.

When home is not an option, we partner with families to develop a plan for lifelong connections that may include adoption.

Skills & Duties
  • Work collaboratively with the child, family, team members, and community partners to facilitate successful completion of service plan goals, including supporting permanency and lifelong connections.
  • Conduct timely screenings and assessments to develop a strength‑based service plan.
  • Provide regular case contact and support—training, resources, advocacy, and interventions—to children and families as needed to meet service plan goals.
Education & Work Experience
  • Master’s degree in a related field required.
  • Experience working with at‑risk youth and families.
Licenses & Certifications
  • Meet all state required conditions of employment set by funder and regulatory body, e.g., fingerprint and child abuse index clearance, TB/Health physical, valid CDL and clean driving record.
