This position is responsible for the effective operation of a program to support the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of students in a Catholic school setting.

St. Peter Catholic School teachers must deliver classroom instruction that helps students thrive in all academic and social areas. To accomplish this, teachers must prepare effective lessons, grade student work and offer feedback, manage classroom materials, productively navigate the curriculum, and collaborate with other staff. To consistently do the above effectively, teachers must have a strong knowledge of the subjects they are teaching and be willing to pursue relevant opportunities for professional growth.

• Provide instruction in a variety of subjects and programs.
• Participate in student assessments.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, parent information sessions, and fundraisers.
• Develop relationships with parents, students, and staff.
• Maintain a classroom environment that is clean and orderly and reflects values consistent with St. Peter Catholic School’s mission.
