• Manage day‑to‑day administrative tasks and oversee production for the weekend day shift.
• Supervise up to 10 employees.
• Create preventive maintenance procedures and checklists.
• Manage the work order process effectively.
• Handle emergencies and develop troubleshooting guidelines.
• Develop a maintenance strategy that supports production operations and the organization.
• Schedule proactive maintenance tasks and prioritize work across the team.
• Perform inspections and oversight of maintenance work to ensure quality.
• Hire and train maintenance staff, and coordinate more complex maintenance work.
• Forecast, order, and negotiate pricing of parts and inventory.
• Hire and manage subcontractors and vendors for specialized maintenance work.
• Ensure availability of necessary tools and equipment.
• Seek new ways to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Support the development of company policies and standard operating procedures.

• 3‑5 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability and willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) specific to each work area.
• Capacity to work in a manufacturing environment that may include:
  • Extreme temperatures (both hot and cold)
  • Loud noise levels
  • Dust and chemical fumes
  • Sharp metal objects
  • Heavy forklift traffic

• 3‑5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1‑3 years of technical training from an accredited institution.
