- At all times ensures safety is a top priority while performing any part of the job.
- Follow instruction given by Supervisor.
- Operates machines to form parts per specifications identified on the blueprint.
- Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
- Changes out tooling as required to meet blueprint specifications.
- Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.
- Measures workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
- Stacks and transports finished work pieces for delivery to the next station.
- Operates machines at production level with little supervision.
- Reads and comprehends basic blueprints.
- Safely operate basic hand tools (grinders, bevel mills, drills, etc.).
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
