• Maintain customer service according to company standards.
• Generate sales, handle house‑keeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, and point‑of‑sale operations.
• Process freight and support loss prevention in line with all company policies and store standards.
• Greet and acknowledge every customer, answer questions, and help locate products.
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Maintain constant radio communication with all associates.
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of Coastal Farm’s products.
• Stay updated on product knowledge and promotions.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping.
• Help in other departments when needed.
• Perform daily cleaning duties such as vacuuming, replacing trash bags, and sweeping the department floor.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability to rapidly changing work environments and shifting priorities.
• Familiarity with operating a computer system and email.
• Preferably familiar with standard retail concepts and practices.
• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to drive a forklift.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs. regularly.
• Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions year‑round.
