• Read, understand and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders and reports.
• Install or repair according to specifications (Copper, CPVC, black iron).
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
• Cut and bore holes in structures such as bulkheads, decks, walls, and mains before pipe installation, using hand and power tools.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings and related equipment by brazing, gluing, soldering and threading joints.
• Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures using brackets and/or Unistrut.
• Inspect, examine and test installed systems and pipe lines using pressure gauges, hydro‑static testing, observation and other methods.
• Troubleshoot problems in the piping systems we build.
• Install automatic controls used to regulate hydronic and refrigerant systems.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Preferred 2 years working as a plumber/pipefitter.
• Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts.
• Experience with Job Boss inventory system.
• 2‑3 years in pipe fitting/plumbing or a similar trade.
• Competency in selecting pipe type, size and related materials such as supports and hangers per job specifications.
