Typical Day in the RolePurpose of the Team – This role will support an entire org of 3,000 people, 1,200 of which sit in Redmond. This will be a shared resource for the team.
Key projects – This role will be based on group support, orders, vendor requests and onboarding items, set up new hires, equipment and space management. The role will not provide direct calendaring or travel & expense support to managers.
Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm – This role will heavily focus on group support in office which will vary day to day and will be moving around through the office, with very few typical meetings.

Candidate Requirements- 2‑4 overall years of experience in the field.
- Excellent level of professionalism.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the admin space.
- Previous experience in a large tech company like Microsoft, Meta, Amazon – always a plus.
- Ability to take ownership of projects and complete them efficiently.
- Performance will be assessed based on quality of work.
- Provides general administrative support primarily for a group.
- Coordinates meetings and events, department financial operations, personnel operations, and facility purchasing and operations.
- Completes special projects as assigned.
- Enforces policies and/or procedures of the defined team(s).
- 1‑3 years administrative experience in a fast‑paced environment.
- Effective communication and project management skills.
- Willingness to assist members of a team and ability to relate well with diverse individuals.
- Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills – a must.
- Working knowledge of email, scheduling, word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software; experience using current versions of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) preferred.
- May require ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
