Title:
Administrative Assistant 3
Location: Hybrid in Redmond, WA (Building 43)
Duration: 9 months (Extension is possible based on the budget approval)
Schedule & OT Estimate: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, potential OT
Pay rate: $28 to $32/hr on W2
Candidate Requirements- Years of
Experience:
5–7 years overall in the field. - Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required.
- Disqualifiers: 5+ consecutive short-term roles.
- Best vs. Average Candidate:
- Strong planning/office and offsite event coordination experience.
- Proactive “yes person” with a team-player attitude.
- Positive about being onsite and handling event-related duties.
- Attitude and willingness to support valued more than company background.
- Performance Indicators: Quality of work and ability to meet deadlines.
- 4+ years administrative, business support, or customer service experience in scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and executive support.
- 4+ years experience managing complex calendars and travel for leadership teams.
- 4+ years experience with budget tracking, expense reporting, and headcount coordination.
- Manage complex schedules, travel arrangements, and business expenses.
- Coordinate meetings, events, and department operations (financial, personnel, and facilities).
- Handle procurement of goods/services (supplies, equipment, vendor relationships).
- Provide general office support and serve as the department contact.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- 4+ years administrative/business support/customer service experience with focus on scheduling, travel, and executive-level support.
- 4+ years managing complex calendars and travel for leadership teams.
- 4+ years handling budget tracking, expense reporting, and headcount coordination.
- Experience with event planning/coordination and catering.
- Experience driving execution and delivering impactful outcomes.
- Skilled in calendar coordination, logistics, expense tracking, and team support.
- Strong written/verbal communication (concise, clear, inclusive).
- Adaptable in dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
- Comfortable supporting large organizations and collaborating across diverse work styles.
- Maintains confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proactive in identifying opportunities to support team success.
- Proficient in Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and Microsoft internal tools (Employee Central, MyOrder, MSTravel, MS Space, Expense Management).
- Familiarity with Microsoft systems (security groups, purchase orders, asset tracking) a plus.
- BA/BS degree preferred.
