Construction Superintendent

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities from start to finish

• Lead field personnel to ensure timely project completion, adherence to budget, and delivery of high-quality workmanship that meets or exceeds all plans, specifications, and quality expectations

• Monitor project schedules closely and proactively address any issues or delays

• Facilitate weekly client meetings, document meeting notes, and communicate key items to the Project Manager

• Manage material procurement and coordinate necessary inspections throughout the project lifecycle

• Evaluate changes in project scope or budget and escalate appropriately for client approval

• Thoroughly understand construction drawings, specifications, and processes

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members

• Plan and lead final punch list walkthroughs and ensure all items are completed to satisfaction

• Champion safety on the jobsite—promote a culture of safety, identify hazards, and ensure all workers follow safety protocols and policies

• Keep the jobsite and construction office clean, organized, and professional

• Contribute to business development efforts through relationship building and networking

• Leverage existing industry connections to help secure future project opportunities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred, but not required

• 15+ years of proven experience in a Superintendent role, with a strong background in commercial construction

• Proficiency in managing schedules, ordering materials, supervising field crews, and overseeing quality control across all interior construction phases
