Position:
Customer Service Representative/Dispatch (17088)

Base pay range: $19.00/hr - $22.00/hr this range is provided by Pacific Coast Building Products. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, this position provides dispatching of delivery trucks to customer jobsites, ensures load accuracy, delivers delivery communication with customers, processes customer orders, invoices and credits, directs accounts receivable requests from customers, dispatches customer pickups, and provides marketing assistance for the location sales teams. This position is required to provide sales assistance for walk-in Commercial and Retail customers;

and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Dispatch delivery trucks to customer jobsites and ensure load accuracy
• Communicate with customers regarding deliveries
• Process customer orders, invoices and credits
• Direct accounts receivable requests from customers
• Dispatch customer pickups
• Provide marketing assistance for location sales teams
• Support and demonstrate company core values

• High school education or equivalent required; some college coursework is a plus
• Two years' customer service experience preferred; experience in the concrete block and/or sack industry a plus
• SAP experience preferred
• Truck dispatching experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage repetitive duties in a dynamic environment
• Good reading, writing and mathematical skills
• Effective communication with peers, customers and superiors
• Strong teamwork, decision-making and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
• Office environment experience with multi-line phone system, PC, printer, calculator, copier, and fax; other equipment as required
• Sales experience preferred but not required
• Predictable and regular attendance required
