Responsibilities- Develop and lead creative programming to inspire growth and learning;
- Supervise play indoor and/or outdoor for safety and engagement;
- Record attendance and organize after school snacks;
- Maintain open lines of communication with teaching staff and After School Program Coordinator;
- Be a vital piece of the Cascadia puzzle in education, classroom management, and student safety.
- 2+ years experience in a Montessori setting, summer camp, and/or after school program
- Ability to cultivate relationships with students, their families, and coworkers
- Desire to instill a sense of learning through discovery and play
- Team mindset to serve and assist on various tasks to ensure all work is completed
- CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to obtain (paid for by Cascadia)
- Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, work indoors or outdoors, be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in activities with children

This is an on-site position at Cascadia’s Redmond campus with a Monday through Friday schedule that follows the school calendar. When school is in session, working hours are generally 2:30pm to 6:15pm.
TermThis is a contract position for the remainder of the academic school year, with the ability to extend into summer programs based on performance and fit.
