Lake Washington School District is seeking qualified high school Special Education Teachers for positions in a Transition Room setting for the  school year. This general posting will be used to build an applicant pool; specific openings will be filled as they arise, and selected candidates will be contacted for interviews.

The transition center program supports students with cognitive impairments and adaptive behavior delays by providing academic, vocational, and behavioral support within a special education classroom and through collaboration with general education teachers.

Washington State teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement.

Paid according to the teacher salary schedule, including Base contract, additional contracts for LEAP days and responsibilities, plus stipends for technology and professional development funds.
